How To Live Like You Matter

calling Oct 12, 2020

Many people are so busy cheering for the success of others they forget to celebrate their own accomplishments.

You have a unique set of gifts and talents. If you “BeLive” (in other words wake up and acknowledge your greatness) they will take you to places you never thought you would go.

It's Time To Get Passionate About "You"

Living vicariously through others is not the best. It’s not the Lords plan for your life because He fully planned for you to manifest the promises He preordained for you to enjoy. It’s time to get as passionate about your success as you may be about your favorite sports team or watching your favorite speaker.

Nothing is more interesting to me than how excited people get to see others do their thing. People will wait in line for hours to see their favorite singer in a concert but watching a 60 min video about their own calling is too long. They will go tailgate hours before a game, binge watch movies on Netflix all night and other forms of entertainment. However, they don’t have the time to invest in themselves and If you don't make time for yourself who else will. I remember the first time I was like why am I rushing to watch this game or planning ahead to go see the latest movie come out to look at someone else living their dream but not pursuing mine with more intensity.

For coaching on how to live your dreams go to

You Have To Dig Deep

When I figured this out it was a game changer for me and now I hardly have anytime to watch others live the life they've always dreamed about because I’m busy going after mine. You see, if you’re looking at others while your life flies by it’s not that you don’t have time or money.

If I can be coach for a minute, please allow me to tell you what the real challenge is.  It's not easy to determine so I had to dig deep within to find it. The real challenge I had was I didn’t believe in myself. If you find yourself in that place let me give you three things that you can do right now to break that chain.

  1. Get in the word of God

Jeremiah 29:11 says I know the thoughts I think toward you thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. Then he said in Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. When you get into the word God will show what you don’t know about yourself that is great and mighty. It will start breaking down the unbelief you have about your capabilities and your future.

  1. Speak life over yourself

When things looked hopeless for David after returning from Ziklag (1 Samuel 30:6)  he had nobody to turn to. Fortunately, the Lord made you with the ability to frame your own world by the words that come out of your own mouth. Since life and death is in the power of the tongue (Proverb 18:21) start putting a watch over your mouth and only say what God thinks about you and don’t let anybody else say different either. If you can’t change the people around you, change the people around you. With that said let’s look at number three.

  1. Hang out with Eagles

People who soar high will lift you up. You can’t be a turkey around Eagles and since you will more than likely be like your closest 5 friend you have to find new friends. These are the people like Jonathon. When David was feeling down in the dumps he encouraged David (1 Samuel 23:16). So find people who are where you want to be, pursue those relationships and they will change your life.
